2020 Australian Open Total Purse increased
Great news this season tournament prize 10% raised and the total prize money for 2019 Australian open will be AUD$60.5 million.May be in 2020 the prize money will increase to $73.2 million (Australian Dollar). Both Ladies and Men’s champs will take AUD$4.5 million (USD$3.2m). The runner-ups will get AUD$2.5 million, whereas winner’s of semifinal gentlemen and ladies will get AUD$1.25m.
Above 10 years, according to agreement every year all four grand slam total purse has been always increased. Presently US Open is the richest Grand Slam event with over $50 million prize money in 2018.
